An Astrological Explanation For Airline Industry ‘Craziness’

April 10, 2016

By Airline industry blogger Holly Hegeman

Greetings, everyone:

I hope that you have by now recovered from your overdose of chocolate and/or those disgusting Peeps and your fingers are no longer stained with various hues of Easter egg dye. Whatever your Easter vice, I hope you had a wonderful Easter respite from the usual industry madness.

The industry has certainly seemed more crazy than usual the last week or so.

First, we had the JetBlue flight attendant who kicked off her shoes and ran out of LAX, leaving almost 70 pounds of cocaine, $5.38 in change, and a pack of condoms in her bags, after she was pulled out of the Known Crewmember security line for additional screening.

Then, it was reported that a United Airlines pilot has allegedly been running a rather extensive prostitution ring in Houston. Those big raises still not enough?

Then we had an American Airlines pilot pulled off his aircraft in Detroit over the weekend, after authorities were alerted that he might just be a little drunk. Breathalyzer test results from the pilot, if accurate, confirmed those suspicions.

Not to be left out, a Delta Air Lines ramp agent was arrested Saturday after authorities say he allegedly tried to hand off roughly $282,000 in cash to someone in one of the bathrooms at the Palm Beach International Airport.

He had used his airport identification to bypass security checkpoints and enter a so-called sterile area from the outside tarmac ramps. He was approached by an airport operations officer and asked to show the contents of his backpack.

I would note that Saturn turned retrograde in Sagittarius on March 25. As a friend of mine who is an astrologer pointed out to me last week, “This is one heavy duty astrological shift. Karma is a big player here. Essentially, people need to work on going back and sorting out the bad stuff, the negatives, the stuff in their lives that is not working. Then, they need to discard it. Change it. That’s the hard part. The good part is that this only lasts four and a half months. Then we move forward again, with the newfound clarity we’ve developed over the last four months of introspection.”

There you go. There’s the official reason for all this madness. Only about four months more to go. That seems more than enough time to decide to ditch the cash drops, the drinking before flying, and the cocaine trafficking.
