Cancer New Moon July 5th 2024

The Tide is changing, we are losing the wind and the mind of Air so we will no
longer be able to move as freely. Now the waves and the wetness of the Water
element begins to beat on our shores. We are turned in the direction of the
needing heart and we can feel the underlying, vulnerable, emotional currents that

pass within us and through our doors.

For we are in the time of Cancer where the approximate constellation
surrounding, beside and behind the Sun is in a place, in the never ending sky,
called CANCER. When the Earth moves here every year, into this space that is
directly opposite the Sun, most human beings begin to “Feel” more “Sense” more
and “Long” more. It’s a time when the continually moving life force flows more
strongly in front of us. It brings whispers that we can now hear becoming shouts
concerning our sensitive, feeling, empathetic selves.

This cycle is easier than the last one as Venus is widely close to the Sun and
Moon that are both at 14 degrees of Cancer. All three bodies are in a favorable
aspect to Saturn, not a stressful one, as we had in the prior Gemini times. We can
trust the boundaries that Saturn brings and our projects may find the needed
guidance to move forward now. We need to slow down and pause while letting
go of the chattering mind and tune in to our golden intuition that’s speaking more
clearly now. There’s a soft femininity present and it’s a perfect time to let our
family, our husbands, our wives and our friends know they matter. Pet your dog
intentionally more every day this month. Encapsulate and project the female part
of you that listens, senses and dares to care. Five of the ten planets are in water
signs so feelings are strong, deep and penetrating. Know they are magnified and
try to not take anything too personal as everyone is flooded by emotion now.
The archetype of Cancer is about finding our home and feeling nurtured
and safe in Life. Cancer can care for others but is overly protective and has a

terrible time revealing the self. Pick those bothersome weeds out of the garden
and clear the clutter from your closets, close the front gate at night and buy a
few, new jazzy pillows that you love. Call your dear friend spontaneously and
honestly disclose how you are doing. Create meals that satisfy your desires as it’s
time to make a true home in our very own skin. Help your cells accept that It’s
time to let the tender feeling side of life in and embrace that not just everyone
else, but we are the ones that truly matter…
