The Acceleration of Time!
By Madeline Gerwick
By now, some of you may be noticing how fast time seems to fly! It’s not just your imagination. Nor is it because you’re getting older. This is a REAL phenomenon and it’s based on the cycles.
Back on November 19, 2024, Pluto entered Aquarius, an Air Sign, after spending about 16 years in Capricorn, an Earth Sign. The energy of an Air Sign is much faster than that of an Earth Sign. So that was the first acceleration of time.
Then on March 30th, Neptune moved from the Water Sign of Pisces to the Fire Sign of Aries. Fire Signs are much faster energies than Water. So again, we had another acceleration of time. That occurred about two months ago and you may be noticing this by now, as you might feel like you can’t seem to “catch your breath”. Everything moves so fast!
We’ll get a small reprieve from October 22nd until January 26, 2026, when Neptune is temporarily back in Pisces. When it moves back to Aries in January, it will stay until late May 2038. You’ll need to adjust to that much faster pace next year, as it will feel “permanent” after that. This isn’t all that’s happening though.
This month, on May 24th, Saturn will move into Aries (yes, that fast, Fire Sign) from the Water Sign of Pisces, where it’s been for the last 2.5 years. Another acceleration of time! This is also a temporary situation, as it will move back to Pisces on September 1st. So we get a small reprieve for about 5.5 months, until it moves back to Aries on February 13, 2026. Then it will stay until April 12, 2028.
As if that isn’t enough already, Uranus will move from the slower Earth Sign of Taurus into the faster Air Sign of Gemini on July 7th. By this time, you will really be running! This will be the 4th planet changing to a faster sign. Fortunately, this one is also temporary this year. On November 7th it moves back to Taurus until April 25, 2026. Then it will move into that faster Sign of Gemini for about 7 years.
Can you see how this is stacking up to accelerate your perception of time? This year is your practice time. By the end of this month, three of those planets will be in faster Signs. By early July, the fourth one joins them. Then things calm down a bit at the end of this year until early next year. By mid-February 2026, 3 of the 4 planets are off to the races! By the end of April 2026, the 4th one is in place too.
Those planets all stay in their Signs from 2.5 years (Saturn) to nearly 20 years (Pluto). Next year will get even faster than this year, as Jupiter will move from the slower, Water Sign of Cancer to the faster, Fire Sign of Leo. That will occur on June 29-30, 2026. Then we’ll have five, slower planets in the fast Air and Fire Signs!
You’re probably noticing this with the very fast speed of events that occur. One minute two countries are at war. Then a few hours later, they’re not. It’s hard to keep up!
Do what you can to eliminate any unnecessary tasks this year, or find ways to streamline processes as much as possible. This is not going to slow down. The holidays will be a tiny bit slower, but that won’t last long. Then it will be back to the races again! Allow technology to assist you. I know it doesn’t always work the way it should, but it’s one of the ways you can save time.
Do your best to reorient yourself to this faster pace. Instead of complaining about it, challenge yourself to embrace it. Imagine new technologies coming to assist you, and see your life changing with easier ways to accomplish things. Keep your mind flexible. Ask how the Universe will assist you to handle this faster pace of life and expect it to do so. Much will shift this year and next as we experience the acceleration of time.
