ANS 2025 World Series Cesar cover

Saturn Crowns the Dodgers

November 3, 2025

By César Love

The 2025 World Series manifested as a seven-game epic battle between an Aquarian international team, the Toronto Blue Jays; and a romantic American institution, the Los Angeles Dodgers, who were born under a Libra full moon. The Series was decided under strong Saturn aspects as the Ringed Planet formed a conjunction (0 degrees) to Neptune in Pisces and a Grand Trine in Water Signs with Mars and Mercury in Scorpio, and Jupiter in Cancer.

The key to understanding winners in baseball’s post-season is found by contemplating Saturn. The baseball season is a long and arduous road through nine months of the calendar. The teams who survive into the post-season are in synch with Saturn. The planet Saturn is called the “Great Malefic” by old school astrologers, but it is this mean old fart who crowns the champions. Saturn brings hardships, but also lessons in endurance and not giving up. Those who honor Saturn’s lessons will be rewarded and may even reap the ultimate prize of a World Series ring.

The Toronto Blue Jays (born March 26, 1976) (1) have a very strong Aquarian and Uranus emphasis in their birth chart. They not only have the Moon in Aquarius but also Uranus in the Fourth House (generically ruled by the Moon). The Moon rules the team as a family structure. An Aquarius Moon invites all of humanity into its nest. The Blue Jays play in Cananda and they have many Latino players on their roster. Toronto teammates also describe themselves as a brotherhood (2), an Aquarian concept. On another plane, the Moon rules stadiums. The Blue Jays play in an Aquarian style, futuristic stadium, the Rogers Centre, which has a retractable roof. Formerly, their stadium was called the Skydome, a name that reaches for the heavens, a domain of Aquarius.

In the 2025 post-season, the Blue Jays’ natal Saturn (26 Cancer) was perfectly positioned to receive the energy of Jupiter in Cancer, Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, and Mars and Mercury in Scorpio. When the season finally ended, the Blue Jays did not prevail, but they very much received the blessings of Saturn. If residents of Toronto had looked upward when their team won the American League pennant on Oct. 20, 2025, they would have seen Saturn overhead. The roof of the Rogers Centre was closed, but Blue Jay fans on the streets of Toronto may have glimpsed the Ringed Planet directly above them. At 11:00 EDT, when the Blue Jays won the pennant, Saturn (26 Pisces) was positioned a little more than 1 degree from the MC (24 Pisces), ruling status and reputation. Beyond this, Saturn and the MC were trine (120 degrees) to Jupiter in transit (24 Cancer) and the Blue Jays’ natal Saturn (26 Cancer).

The Los Angeles Dodgers (born April 1, 1874) (3) have the Sun in Aries opposite the Moon in Libra. The Sun in the masculine Sign of Aries together with the Moon in the feminine Sign of Libra generate very strong romantic energy. The relationship between the Brooklyn Dodgers and their fans has been described as America’s greatest love affair. The Dodgers also have a politically progressive Saturn in Aquarius opposed by Uranus in Leo. It was through this aspect that the Dodgers dared to integrate Major League Baseball by giving a uniform to Jackie Robinson in 1947.

In the 2025 post-season, the Dodgers’ natal Jupiter (24 Virgo) channeled Saturn (25 Pisces) as an opposition (180 degrees). The Dodgers would gather Saturn’s ultimate reward at 12:18 am EDT on November 2, 2025, as Mookie Betts secured the double play to end the game. At that precise minute, the Descendant in Toronto (11 Aquarius) was positioned to conjoin the Dodgers’ natal Saturn (12 Aquarius) within one degree.

Saturn not only rules championships, but extra-inning games and comebacks. The Dodgers would succeed with all three in the 2025 World Series. They performed extraordinary Saturn feats such as prevailing in 18-inning Game Three. In Game Seven, they came back to tie the Blue Jays in the 9th inning, then win the championship in the 11th inning.

Game Sevens always drip with Saturn energy which oozes tension and excitement as a season is about to end. This Game Seven began with the Moon (20 Pisces) approaching a tight conjunction to Saturn (25 Pisces). When the game ended, the Moon had progressed into an even closer conjunction (23 Pisces). Later that night, the Dodgers would celebrate under an exact conjunction of the Moon and Saturn.

Even later that night, the Moon (29 Pisces) would progress to an exact conjunction with Neptune, watering the spiritual dimension of the World Series.
