President Trump: The Force is with him, for now
By Sue Kientz
About a week ago on February 28, 2026, Iran was attacked for not being fast enough to make a deal with the President of the United States.(1) President Trump wanted a nuclear deal that he liked, something better than the nuclear deal that former President Obama signed with Iran and other allies in 2015 that Trump inexplicably canceled after becoming president in 2017. Negotiations for a replacement deal were in progress late February, with some promising results,(2) when the attack began. Israel joined in the bombing of Iran, with both countries seeming bent on destroying Iran’s ability to launch missiles at Israel, American military bases, and other perceived enemies.
Soon after the attacks began, however, President Trump urged the Iranian people, likely those who protested against the regime in recent times, to rise up and overthrow the government. Since this exhortation, Trump has issued other commands, that he will only accept Iran’s “unconditional surrender”(3) and he expects to have a say on who replaces the supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who was killed in the attack.(4)
Meanwhile, Trump’s moves against Venezuela in which the U.S. military invaded its capital Caracas to arrest President Maduro on drug charges, has enabled the U.S. president to halt Venezuelan oil production and delivery, most notably to Cuba. Soon thereafter, Trump ordered a blockade of Cuba, apparently intent that Cuba not get any more oil or other necessary imports from any source.(5) As Trump proceeds to keep bombing Iran, he mentions Cuba frequently, saying that it’s “at its end of life,” i.e., he expects Cuba’s government to collapse. While Trump insists he must “clean up” things in Iran before he can attend to Cuba,(6) there are signs he expects to execute a Venezuela-like “decapitation” of Cuba’s leadership, since the U.S. Dept. of Justice is looking into what crimes Cuba’s leaders might be charged with.(7)
If this seems like President Trump is acting less like an American president protecting and defending his people, and more like a massive hurricane that is traveling the globe causing chaos, damage, and ruin from one country to another, astrology can lend some validation to that observation. What you are seeing is several instances where the faster major planets (e.g., Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Venus, and large asteroid Vesta) appear to “set off” difficult situations when they pass through areas that currently activate an unusual and disruptive figure of Uranus (27 Taurus) sesquiquadrate (135 degrees, a troubling development) dwarf planet Makemake (12 Libra), a body two-thirds Pluto’s size that signals unexpected events and disturbing, irrational, even insane behavior. That would be bad in the best of times, but in today’s world it’s really concerning since at the same time, Donald Trump’s natal Mars (26 Leo) and Ascendant (29 Leo)(8) also get set off, eliciting anger, agitation, sudden action (Mars), mainly in service to maintaining his extravagant public image (Leo Ascendant).
Starting with the string of surprising military actions that began January 3 in Venezuela, the Sun and Venus (12 Capricorn) and Mars (14 Capricorn) were sesquiquadrate Uranus (27 Taurus) and square (90 degrees, a more serious crisis) Makemake (12 Libra). When working in tandem with Uranus, planet of reason, science, advanced knowledge, and individual freedom (but in those more self-serving, such high flown ideas can make one feel all-knowing with grandiose abilities), Makemake’s presence contributes a sensation of events unfolding too fast, out of control, almost as if whoever set things in motion is not thinking straight, is unhinged, or agitated for other reasons.
Then when Trump ordered Operation Epic Fury to begin on February 27 and sent U.S. bombers to hit Iran, Mars (27 Aquarius) was opposite (180 degrees, hostility or enmity towards others) Uranus, and sesquiquadrate Makemake, again activating this self-interested, erratic figure.
Currently we have another large celestial, largest asteroid Vesta (29 Aquarius) of the Asteroid Belt, square Uranus and sesquiquadrate Makemake. Vesta, symbol of service and sacred work, signifies that if people cannot work together, they can get mired in chaos and be forced to clean up (a worse work chore) the resulting mess. This comes as Iranian oil facilities are all in flames.
Other planets will soon reach the next critical point in mid-Aries. Venus arrives at 12-13 Aries in mid-March, which will semisquare (45 degrees, similarly troubling like the sesquiquadrate) Uranus (28 Taurus) and oppose Makemake, followed by the Sun in early April, Mercury on April 23 (as Venus conjoins Uranus at 29 Taurus), and soon after Mars on April 27. Extremely concerning for the U.S. is that Saturn (10 Aries), symbol of soberness, carefulness, down-to-earth practicality) opposes Makemake (11 Libra) from mid-May into June, as it also squares the U.S. Sun (13 Cancer)(9) at end of June. This is likely when Trump finds his incredible run of luck runs out, and he’s beset by some serious crises. By July 25, Saturn (14 Aries) slows its forward motion exactly opposite the U.S. Saturn (14 Libra), then stops, seeming to drift back square the U.S. Sun a second time and opposite Makemake (then at 10 Libra).(10) So if you’re wondering how on earth President Trump can break scores of norms and sail over guardrails every day and keep getting away with it, some Saturn-like event, person, or movement will effectively apply the brakes and slow down the manic whirlwind from around June and into 2027.

10. All planets including dwarf planets can appear to stop (called “stationing”) and slowly move retrograde, or backward in degrees as observed from Earth, due to the position of Earth sometimes moving faster than other bodies, so the other planets seem to drift backwards in the sky for a certain period (then they “stop” or station and move in forward motion). Sun and Moon never appear to move retrograde.
