Epstein In the Sky (No Diamonds)

August 20, 2025

By Alex Miller

Much has been made of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein of late, on both sides of the Atlantic, with a furor in the US over the lack of transparency in releasing files related to his case; and in the UK, coinciding with the publication of a new tell-all bio of Prince Andrew, one of the “elites” to whom Epstein trafficked underage girls.  This outburst of public sentiment has coincided with asteroid Epstein coming to its station (1), a crucial moment in its cycle with the sun which heightens and emphasizes its effects.  Epstein entered its station degree (1 Aries) on July 8th, just two days after the US Department of Justice said “nothing to see here, move along,” sparking a new wave of conspiracy theories into terrestrial Epstein’s actions, connections and death; and exited August 15th, the day after the release of the Andrew biography.  On the actual station date (July 27th), asteroid Epstein was accompanied by Saturn (criticism, censure, punishment, facts and reality) and Neptune (conspiracy, deception, subterfuge, and fantasy), in precise conjunction.

Apart from the hype and hysteria, the real and horrendous crimes, and the conspiracies, who was Jeffrey Epstein?  Astrology can help us reveal the man from the myth, separating the mortal from the monster.  Born 20 January 1953, Jeffrey Epstein’s Sun (0 Aquarius) makes a number of connections that illumine his inner essence, when viewed through the proper lens.  The Sun is exactly conjoined asteroid Sphinx, also accompanied by asteroids Apophis (29 Capricorn) and Eros (1 Aquarius), while exactly opposed (180 degrees) asteroid Aphrodite (0 Leo), accompanied by asteroids Fantasia (26 Cancer) and Justitia (27 Cancer).

This conglomeration depicts someone who is an enigma, a riddle, an inscrutable mystery, shrouded in secrecy (Sphinx, named for the mythic riddling beast who waylaid unwary travelers with riddles impossible to solve, then killed and ate them when they had no answer); someone capable of unthinkable, heinous acts (Apophis, named for the ancient Egyptian personification of pure evil); someone ruled by passion and eroticism (Eros, ruler of erotic passion); someone self-defined by fantasies (Fantasia) and continual romantic conquest (Aphrodite, known for casual affairs and uncontrolled sexual appetites).

And indeed, Epstein accomplished his multiple abhorrent crimes for decades in comparative secrecy, without attracting undue attention for his lifestyle, in a virtually ceaseless round of sexual activity (reportedly craving, and supplying, partners for three orgasms per day), victimizing perhaps a thousand girls and young women to satisfy his lust.

We haven’t yet spoken of asteroid Justitia, named for the Roman goddess of justice.  Her presence in this mix is the one saving grace of the pattern, implying that, at some point, Epstein will be called to account for his crimes.  As indeed he was, though not to the fullest extent of the law.  First arrested in 2006, Epstein received a “sweetheart deal,” being allowed to plead guilty to lesser crimes without standing trial, and receiving a slap-on-the-wrist punishment of 13 months in a work-release prison program, also requiring him to register as a sex offender.  Following the #MeToo movement’s inception in 2017, Epstein’s case was reviewed with fresh evidence, and he was rearrested in 2019, but hung himself in custody before he was tried.

The hold which fantasy and aberrant sex had on Epstein is further illustrated by Neptune (23 Libra) in square (90 degrees) to the Sun.  Neptune is addiction, fantasy and deception, illusion and escapism, and conveys an ability to become effectively invisible.  Exacerbating the situation are two points which are embedded at station, vastly increasing their power and reach in Epstein’s psyche.

The first is asteroid Sisyphus (18 Libra), named for that resident of Hades who, as punishment for his crimes, was forced to forever roll a rock uphill, only to have it roll back down again, thus necessitating an endless repetition of the action, with no ease or deferment.  It represents pointless effort and repetition, but also persistence; paired with Neptune, the effect is one of the persistence of fantasy, and the inescapable quality of addiction.

The other point is centaur Nessus (14 Taurus), named for the mythic figure who attempted to rape Heracles’ wife Deianira after giving her a piggyback ride across a flooded river.  Heracles saw the offense and shot Nessus dead with a poisoned arrow from the far bank of the river.  Nessus represents “men behaving badly,” especially in a sexual context, including assault, rape and abuse.  With both Sisyphus and Nessus deeply entrenched in Epstein’s psyche, the pull toward repeat offending (Sisyphus) in sexual matters (Nessus) was well-nigh irresistible.

Asteroid Epstein continued to show strongly in the sky at key points in Epstein’s saga on Earth.  At his first arrest on 27 July 2006, the Sun (4 Leo) conjoined asteroids Epstein (5 Leo) and Jeffers (1 Leo), among the celestial referents for Jeffrey, neatly combining both his names and placing him in the spotlight (Sun).    This cluster forms a T-Square pattern (2) by opposition to centaur Nessus (5 Aquarius), with asteroid Themis (5 Taurus), named for the Greek goddess of justice, on the fulcrum, squared to each.  This focuses the solar spotlight on issues of sexual misconduct (Nessus), also signaling the intervention of the justice system (Themis).  As well, the Leo grouping is trine (120 degrees) asteroid d’Arrest (2 Sagittarius), which is powerfully embedded at station, denoting arrest, detention, charges filed and indictments.

At Jeffrey Epstein’s death on 10 August 2019, asteroid Epstein is exactly conjunct Pluto, known as the modern lord of death (both at 21 Capricorn).  Saturn (13 Capricorn), the ancient lord of death, is also within orb. Pluto/Epstein forms a T-Square by exact opposition to asteroid Lachesis (21 Cancer), named for the mythic Greek Fate who determines the span of life, with asteroid Atropos (22 Aries), named for her sister Fate who severs the thread of life at death, on the fulcrum.

Notes:  (1) a planetary station occurs when a body appears to slow its motion, come to a standstill, and reverse course.  It’s an optical illusion from our perspective, based on the triangulation of the sun, Earth, and a third celestial body, but astrologically, it represents a condensation and enhancement of the energies involved, a pivotal turning point or crisis, or a momentous development.

(2) a T-Square is a dynamic pattern composed of two or more plantes in opposition (180 degrees), each squared (90 degrees) a third.  It represents stress and conflict, with the fulcrum point (at the square) offering a possibility of resolution.
