Epstein Report Sparks MAGA Meltdown

One of the main pillars of the MAGA (“Make America Great Again”) movement, and a major component of that coalition, has been conspiracy theories and theorists.  From the JFK and MLKJ assassinations to the moon landing and Clinton-sponsored pedophile rings run out of pizza shops, conspiracy is the air many MAGA folks breathe.  And one of the most popularized conspiracy theories involved Jeffrey Epstein, credibly accused of having sex with underage girls, and sharing this illicit activity with numerous well-heeled, famous friends and acquaintances.  Epstein never came to trial, having died in prison of an apparent suicide, but was rumored to have a secret client list naming his cohorts; his manner of death was also judged suspicious in MAGA world.

Donald Trump promised, if elected, to reveal all these closely-kept secrets and shine the bright light of truth on these shadowy corners for his base.  Imagine their distress, then, when on Sunday, July 6^th, a joint Department of Justice and FBI review was released, baldly stating that there was, in fact, no client list, and Epstein did, in fact, kill himself.  But wait – those Deep State traitors running these departments were ousted by Trump, and replaced with loyalist like Pam Bondi as Attorney General at Justice, Kash Patel as head of the FBI, and Dan Bongino as his deputy, all of whom publicly espoused the supposed cover-up.  Now they’re saying “nothing to see here?”  How can this be?

Oh, it be – and astrologically, it’s all part and parcel of the current conjunction of Saturn (1 Aries) and Neptune (2 Aries).  Saturn is fact, pure and simple.  Harsh reality, the bottom line, the authoritative truth, call it what you will.  But Neptune is the essence of conspiracy theory – both deception and self-deception, wishful thinking, fuzzy logic, obfuscation and misdirection.

Bring the two together, and worlds collide.  A choice has to be made – to accept reality for what it is, or willfully cling to the fantasy.  And as you may have guessed, MAGA is composed mainly of clingers.  The uproar at the report’s release was titanic, and has only grown in the week since.  Fervent loyalists are now accusing the President’s handpicked minions, and even Donald Trump himself, of being coopted into the Deep State, just as crooked and obstructive of the truth as what went before.  FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has failed to show up for work since Wednesday the 9^th, when he had a very public row with AG Pam Bondi, threatening to quit if she’s not fired.  Even Trump’s quasi-mystic conspiracist adviser Laura Loomer has gotten on the “Fire Blondi!” (as she calls her) bandwagon, and cracks showing in MAGA world are becoming deep indeed.

The stress and tension in Trump’s movement is symbolized by Saturn and Neptune in square (90 degrees) to Jupiter (6 Cancer), noted for blowing things out of proportion and going to excess, as well as having affinities with politics, and ruling just the sort of rich and famous individuals reputed to have been part of Epstein’s criminal acts.  Jupiter also rules the Justice Department, where the MAGA firestorm (or perhaps “dumpster fire” is more the mot juste) started, and which remains its chief focus.

The cosmos, however, is rarely satisfied with such generalities as Saturn/Neptune squared Jupiter presents on its face, and often supplies additional details via the plethora of asteroids and other minor bodies that populate the solar system.  And this situation is no exception:  remarkably, asteroid Epstein appears front-and-center in this fracas over the Jeffrey Epstein case, conjoined Saturn/Neptune and squared Jupiter from the World Axis (0 Aries), guaranteeing widespread public notice. As well, Jupiter, the ultimate judge and jury, is accompanied by asteroid Truth (8 Cancer), a definite sign that the DOJ/FBI review is factual and accurate.

There are also asteroids which reference Jeffrey (for which there is no exact match), and fill in more of the story.  One, asteroid Geoffroy (6 Virgo), conjoins Mars (11 Virgo), ruling sex, the keynote theme of the criminal charges.  This pairing forms a Grand Cross pattern (four or more points equidistant from each other in 90-degree intervals), a dynamic configuration which focuses stress and brings energy, and often forces a crisis.  Mars/Geoffroy opposes (180 degrees) Damocles (6 Pisces), which represents the doom or peril hanging unseen overhead, about to descend at any moment, a pretty summation of the threat (Damocles) to MAGA unity which the Epstein (Geoffory) backlash reveals.  The crossbars of this pattern define those most exposed to peril here – asteroid Donn (6 Gemini), indicating Donald Trump; and asteroid Pamela (11 Sagittarius), suggesting AG Pam Bondi.

The second Jeffery referent is asteroid Jeffers (24 Leo), which conjoins asteroid Justitia (21 Leo), named for the Roman goddess of justice, and here showcasing the Justice Department, center of this tempest-in-a-tinfoil-hat.  These in turn square Uranus (29 Taurus) noted for stirring controversy and provoking volatile, extreme responses.

Pam Bondi’s precarious perch as AG, now the focus of MAGA ire, is further indicated by asteroid Bondia (24 Cancer), closest to Bondi, opposed asteroid NOT (27 Capricorn), in a second Grand Cross with asteroid Nemesis (17 Libra) and dwarf planet Eris (25 Aries).  Eris shows massive discontent and dissatisfaction, such as the report’s reception revealed; Nemesis indicates an enemy or opponent; and NOT acts as a general disqualifier or symbol of negation.   We see here Pam Bondi’s (Bondia) newly acquired adversaries (Nemesis), provoked by their discontent (Eris) into calling for her removal (NOT).

There’s a fascinating coda to this story.  In his birth chart, Donald Trump sports asteroid Epstein at station (appearing to slow and come to a standstill in the sky), denoting a person who has an inordinate impact on his biography, with stationary bodies exerting a power out of all proportion to their typical influence.  That degree just happens to be exactly where Pluto is right now (3 Aquarius), with the planet ruling criminality, secrets, scandal and destruction doing its transformative thing just as this story breaks.  Who says the cosmos has no sense of humor?
