Elon Musk Becomes World’s First Trillionaire

June 15, 2026

By Alex Miller

It was bound to happen, sooner or later.  And with a conjunction of planets Venus and Jupiter currently dominating the heavens, that time was now.  With the valuation of his SpaceX company’s NASDAQ IPO on 12 June 2026, Tesla founder Elon Musk’s net worth is now estimated at $1.1 trillion.

Venus, Jupiter and Pluto are all noted as planetary energies connected to financial matters.  Traditionally, Venus is said to rule the thousands, Jupiter the millions, and Pluto the billions.  There is no designated planet for the trillions – up to now, we haven’t needed one, on a personal level – but Pluto can fill that gap in a pinch.

Venus is all about worth and valuation, including self-worth and others’ valuation of us.  Jupiter is about excess and increase, expansive and limitless.  When these two came together in the sky on June 9th, astrologers were confident that “mo’ money!” would be Big News.  But the world’s first trillionaire, within days?  That was a surprise!

But it needn’t have been, if asteroids were added to the picture.  The Sun (21 Gemini) conjunct asteroid Midas (15 Gemini) was the first clue that mid-June could bring a focus (Sun) to overwhelming riches, with Midas named for that mythic fellow famed for acquiring the ability to turn to gold everything he touched.  The Sun and Midas made their exact conjunction on June 2nd, but have been hanging out together for weeks, and by the time Musk’s hyperinflated fiscal status became a reality on June 12th, another monetary marker had entered the fray.  Namely, asteroid Reich (21 Sagittarius), named for the German word for “rich,” which exactly opposed (180 degrees) the Sun, with this polarity forming a T-Square (1) with asteroid Fortuna (19 Virgo), the Latin word for “fortune.”  Mo’ money, indeed!

As well, asteroid Ricco (9 Gemini), named for the Italian word for “rich,” conjoined Uranus (1 Gemini), arbiter of shocks, surprises, all things unexpected, and record-breaking, record-setting events.  And asteroid Richer (20 Cancer) joins Jupiter (26 Cancer) and Venus (28 Cancer), intimating that someone was about to get lots, lots, LOTS (Jupiter) richer!  An opposition from this trio to asteroid Muskau (28 Capricorn), closest in spelling to “Musk,” is an indicator of just who that someone might be.

Elon Musk’s (2) cosmic bona fides for becoming Earth’s first trillionaire are good ones.  With the Sun (9 Cancer) conjoined Mercury (14 Cancer) and the Ascendant (13 Cancer), and opposed asteroid Richer, Musk’s (Sun) ideas (Mercury), boldly presented to the public (Ascendant), are the source of his increased wealth (Richer).  A T-Square formed with Uranus (9 Libra) shows innovation and originality as his strong suits, with a cosmic nod to electricity (as in Tesla) and space (as in SpaceX), both Uranus-ruled, as means to his economic ends.

In addition, Saturn (1 Gemini) conjoins asteroids Fortuna (28 Taurus) and Midas (29 Taurus), so he has a firm grounding or foundation (Saturn) in vast wealth (Midas, Fortuna), generated via career (Saturn).   An opposition to Jupiter (27 Scorpio) suggests unimpeded increase.  Lastly, Pluto (27 Virgo), that ruler of the billions, squares (90 degrees) natal asteroid Muskau (29 Sagittarius), providing an immediate personal connection to unimaginable affluence, and the power (Pluto) that goes with it.

The celestial stage for this elevation was set by a Lunar Eclipse in March 2026 (12 Virgo), which broadly squared natal Venus (19 Gemini), further stimulated by a station (3) of asteroid Richer (15 Gemini) in February, in conjunction.  The eclipse pushes financial matters to the fore, while Richer suggests that Musk’s bottom line is going up, not down.  It took the Sun’s passage over Venus on June 10th for the potential to fully kick in, and two days later, viola!  The world’s first trillionaire is born!

Notes:  (1) A T-Square is a dynamic pattern composed of two or more planets in opposition (180 degrees), each squared (90 degrees) a third.  It represents stress and conflict, with the fulcrum point (at the square) offering a possibility of resolution.

(2) Elon Musk, born 28 June 1971, 7:30 AM SAST, Pretoria, South Africa, Rodden Rating B

(3) Stations are periods when, from our perspective on Earth, a planet appears to slow its movement, come to a standstill, and reverse course.  This is an optical illusion created by the triangulation between the sun, Earth, and any third celestial body; astrologically, it represents a focusing of the energies associated with that point, and often coincides with major life events or a radical recalibration of how that point has functioned previously.
