Trump Buys Votes

September 10, 2026

By Alex Miller

In what is likely the largest bribery scheme ever conceived, on September 9th, US President Donald Trump offered all 270 million adult Americans a $5000 “Trump Dividend” if Republicans remain in control of both houses of Congress after the November 2026 elections.  Essentially, Trump is proposing cash payouts for votes cast in his Party’s favor.  The venue was the precedent-breaking so-called “Midterm Convention” the GOP is holding in Dallas, Texas, on September 9th & 10th, during Trump’s nearly two-hour keynote speech on the first night.

With the US House of Representatives very likely to change hands to the Democrats in the upcoming election, it was a safe bet for the notoriously closefisted Trump to make, likely resulting in no financial outlay on his part, though that doesn’t obviate the obvious illegality of the offer.  Trump added the proviso that the “Dividend,” if redeemed, must be spent solely on products made or services performed in the US, though what the enforcement mechanism for that would be, wasn’t mentioned.

Not content with bribing the general public, Trump is also fleecing the attendees, charging $25,000 for House members and GOP candidates, $88,600 for a photo with the President, and $250,000 for a seat at a roundtable discussion with him.  Although tickets are free to the general public on a lottery basis, Trump had trouble filling the 21,000 seats at the American Airlines Center, the third tier of which was largely empty.

That bribery and corruption should be the keynote of the convention is no surprise, given the circumstance of Venus entering the Sign of Scorpio during the event, while simultaneously squaring (90 degrees) Pluto (3 Aquarius), ruler of Scorpio.  Venus governs finances and money generally, while Pluto and Scorpio have affinities with corruption and criminality of every stripe.

With Mercury (28 Virgo) in trine (120 degrees) to Pluto, we see the target of the bribery (Pluto) to be votes and voters (Mercury-ruled), proposed in a public speech (also Mercury).  The Sun (17 Virgo) in sesquiquadrate (135 degrees) to Pluto places a spotlight (Sun) on the corruption.  Mars (19 Cancer) squared Saturn (13 Aries) suggests a president (Saturn) whose actions (Mars) may be punishable (Saturn) by law (Saturn as well).

Asteroid Donn (0 Libra) conjunct Mercury and trine Pluto places Donald Trump in the thick of things.  The presence of the President of the United States in Texas is doubly imaged, by asteroid Texas (12 Aries) conjoined Saturn, and asteroid Whitehouse (19 Capricorn), another marker for the presidency and administration, in square.  Asteroid Dallas (4 Virgo) squares Uranus (5 Gemini), suggesting a shocking idea (Uranus) originating in that city.

[Author’s Note:  In preliminary analysis of the November 3rd Midterm Elections, I noted that asteroid Buysballot would be coming to its station (21 Pisces) the day before, in close square to Donald Trump’s natal Sun (22 Gemini).  Buysballot is named for nineteenth century Dutch meteorologist CHD Buys Ballot, and can signal electoral fraud of all types, not just fiscal.  As such, I expected major interference on the part of the president in the voting process, but nothing quite so literal as this, attempting to “buy the ballots” of Americans.]
